Senior AdviserI am a civil society specialist with a background in historical sociology, development studies and South Asian studies. My research interests include the relationship between corruption and climate change and the role of local communities and indigenous peoples in addressing corruption and environmental protection. My research has covered topics such as community-based natural resource management, the role of youth in innovating new anti-corruption approaches, and the role of people’s movements in social change, particularly focused on corruption, governance, and climate action.
Prior to joining CMI and U4, I was manager of a youth engagement, participation and leadership in civil society programs in Nepal, Uganda, and Tanzania for a Norwegian NGO.
