Exploring corruption as a violation of human rights in the practices of international human rights institutions

An updated study on corruption and human rights interactions.

This article continues Boersma’s (2012) study on the treatment of the corruption/human rights interface – bringing up to date the consideration of corruption by human rights bodies. The author finds that these have increased in number, scope, and complexity, but do not necessarily lead to classify corruption itself as a human rights violation.
